Senior Infrastructure Consultant – Manchester – VMware, vSphere, ANY Storage experience - £57,000 + Car allowance + OT

- VMware – vSphere essential – vRealize, vSAN, NSX, ESXi (nice to have)

- Enterprise Storage – Any of the following: NetApp, EMC, DellEMC etc.

- Design and Implementation

- Multiple projects for multiple customers in an MSP environment

An exclusive client of InfraView have retained us to help them hire a Senior Infrastructure Consultant to join their fast paced, highly skilled team. This role requires experience and understanding of the delivery of Technical Infrastructure solutions, someone who understands how business infrastructure works and can support and implement complex client and business requirements. Designing and implementing multiple solutions for customers whilst being trained in multiple areas including NSX, vCloud, Azure, vSAN etc.

Your Responsibilities:

Client environments will vary in size, complexity, industry sector and working arrangements, the scope of each program will vary. Flexibility of approach is required in carrying out responsibilities, including:

- Low level designs and documentation

- Lead Design workshops for transformation / migration projects

- Implementation of work designed

- Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Storage (NetApp, EMC, DellEMC, vSan etc.)

- Delivering projects to a very high standard including documentation and handover workshops

-  Most of your time will be split between working from home and client site (within approx. 75 miles of Manchester), there is a requirement of one day in the office on Fridays for team meetings.
