Head of Cloud and Infrastructure – IT Solutions and Services Provider - £80,000 - £100,000 – London

A MSP/Solutions provider who InfraView work with exclusively are looking for a Head of Cloud and Infrastructure to join their practice and support the CTO in building out, growing and developing their already superb Cloud and Infrastructure practice.

You’ll report directly into the Managing Director who is involved heavily in the business. His passion, energy and love for his business are infectious and people love working for him – we need this Head of Cloud to have the same affect.

The team consist of 14 people, are close knit with great rapport and are made up of the following:

• 3rd Line Engineers


• Project Engineers


• Consultants / Architects

This position is a product of growth plans, not redundancy or not somebody leaving. You’ll work really close with the Head of Technology who is super passionate, solid techy and leader to enable the professional services team to run as well and smoothly as possible.

• Managed  current team of 14 – with exciting growth plans


• Have overall ownership and accountability of Cloud and Infrastructure team


• Cloud and Infrastructure strategy


• Report directly to MD


• Work alongside the CTO who will provide overall technical strategy


• Build, grow and elevate an already brilliant team


• Ensure current, superb internal culture stays the same


• In charge of recruiting new team members


• Be able to clearly demonstrate passion for Microsoft/Cloud technologies

Tech focus of team (Important you have understanding of most of the below)

• Microsoft Office 365


• Microsoft Azure Cloud services (Security, Networks & Infrastructure)


• Windows 10/11 Operating System


• Microsoft Windows Server 201x/202x Operating System


• SharePoint & OneDrive


• Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktops (WVD)


• Enterprise Mobility Management Intune


• Unified Communications via Microsoft Teams


• Microsoft technologies (Always On VPN & Direct Access)


• Azure Site Recovery


• Understanding and adherence to Cybersecurity Compliance Plans (CIS)

It goes without saying that this is a MASSIVE hire for the client and this person must ideally have experience building/developing/organising teams, ensuring each person is both valued/driven to be the best versions of themselves daily.
