In this position you will lead, develop and build on an already highly successful Hybrid Platforms team. This team sits within a wider Architecture Practice of 50+ people and this particular team is 12+ people.

You’ll work alongside the overall head of Presales to manage and drive professional standards, technical plans, strategy and ensure your team continues to be one of the best the tech space has to offerYour team will be made up of Jnr Presales, Solutions Architects (Presales) and BDMs. It’s imperative you’re able to ensure all these teams are well aligned internally in your team as well as across other teams which include Modern Workplace, Cloud, Network, Security etc

Responsibilities:


  • Build the UK’s best Hybrid Technology presales team

  • Lead and develop this technical area across the following tech; on-prem, private and hyperscale platforms, data protection and lifecycle management.

  • Drive high level and consistent customer and seller experience

  • Innovate delivery model to increase win rates

  • Delivery customer up/cross selling to an exceptional high standard

  • Build and develop excellent vendor relationships with wider team

  • Attend industry events making sure your team / business are represented

  • Create and execute on a business plan which is aligned to business strategy

  • Be confident and comfortable running a P&L

  • Lead from the front in a people first approach with a strong commercial edge

  • Proven C-level interaction, engagement and relationship management

  • Demonstrable track record of driving revenue and profit growth, managing cost, and attracting, retaining, and developing talent

  • Strong understanding and experience of the procurement lifecycle including negotiation, contracting, and the management of third parties
